There was a young girl, growing up in the advent of the 21st century, who had it all. She was smart, intelligent, kind and envied by many as she excelled in everything that she did. She was unstoppable and had no failures in her own eyes and that of her friends, family and peers. Everyone saw her whole life happen, as if in a blast into the future, where she was an accomplished powerful woman, making her millions.
There was no way or chance where she wasn’t going to rule as a CEO or president or one of the most influential people in the world. Unfortunately, life had other ideas. A task was set by her teacher to come up with a motivational speech on how they would overcome failures and step forward towards success. Needless to say, everyone was waiting for her turn. She had prepared all week and as she stepped up on the stage, she saw the crowds of people waiting for her and walked towards the microphone. It was then that her greatest fear showed its ugly head and she failed to conquer her fear of public speaking.
She felt dejected, useless and lost all motivation to excel. She was lucky as her family and friends supported her, even encouraged her to try again, but it was something she never had the strength to do. However, in the midst of all this, her mother had understood her pain and gifted her a diary to write in. Her diary was her way of expressing herself as she thought that she had lost the confidence and ability to speak. Decades later, she was working well, but always avoided stages and large groups of people, even though she was never made to feel like a failure.
Her diary was her solace and she realised that this was where her life was intended to go all along that today she is a successful writer, earning her millions and an influential woman of the world. If it was not for her mother, her failure would have made her lose all hope and never use it as a redirected stepping stone to a successful life.
It just took one person and one gesture to make her realise that what she thought was a loss, instead was an opportunity for her to redirect her energies in a different direction. As children, we do not understand why failures happen or what to do when they occur, but if we are positive and are supported well, we realise that they were necessary for us to learn. The maintenance of positivity in her life was what allowed her to truly see the opportunity to succeed. Help your child to do the same, by providing them the right energies in the scientific way and holistic environment to grow, learn and excel, using tools from Saral Education.
